The Boyceville Community School District received an update from Alex Larson of CESA 10 on Feb. 18 about ongoing referendum construction and planning. Larson said Phase 1 projects are largely complete, with specific work on replacement doors and remaining windows scheduled for Feb. 27 and during the week of spring break; building automation and controls field work is finished and the computer programming is near completion.
Larson told the board preliminary scheduling meetings, submittals and sample reviews for Phase 2 are underway, and district staff discussed options for hallway and locker-room lockers and flooring at both buildings. The board also reviewed a parking-lot rendering for Tiffany Creek Elementary and noted that all existing flooring will be demoed at once, leaving temporary polished concrete until new flooring is installed. No formal vote on Phase 2 design contracts was taken at this meeting.
