Total all funds, 15,501,234 as presented with a tax rate of $5.0121 per $1,000 of assessed value,” and the chair confirmed the motion was moved and seconded before the voice vote carried the measure.
Superintendent (speaking during the budget discussion) framed the plan as the product of months of planning and community feedback, asking the committee for approval so the district could continue supporting student achievement and operational stability. “Tonight, we are presented a balanced and carefully developed budget that aligns with our district's strategic goals, support student achievement, invest in staff, and ensures operational stability,” the Superintendent said during the review.
Board members posed questions about specific line items during the budget review, including transportation coding, contracted special‑education services and student‑body fund cleanup. The board scheduled a public budget hearing for June 12, 2025, as a next step in the adoption process.
The motion was announced carried by voice vote and the chair declared the budget approved.
