Alex Larson of CESA 10 briefed the board on the district's referendum projects, reporting Phase 1 punch-list completion and Phase 2 work including locker contracts, flooring samples, bathroom fixture updates, partition planning, parking-lot layout selection, and design of a bus garage canopy (pending a village variance). The presentation noted ongoing coordination to minimize summer disruptions.
Superintendent Nick Kaiser and District Accountant Emmaly Monfort provided the referendum finance update: "Referendum work continues. Phase 1 is almost wrapped up and Phase 2 meetings are going well," Kaiser told the board; Monfort reported that $11 million has been expended to date, interest revenue is over $800,000, and remaining investments are approximately $95,000. The board discussed logistics and warranty tracking and asked administration to continue coordinating with CESA 10 and local permitting authorities.
