Boyceville board hears progress update on flooring, gym, tech-ed and locker renovations

TCE gym demolition began June 8 with bleacher and flooring removal planned prior to new floor installation. Locker demolition has begun in project areas with concrete locker curbs removed and lockers sent to Eclipse powder coat for refinishing. In the Tech-Ed area, masonry was removed to create new door and window openings, the old air handler was removed and a pad poured for a replacement unit; conduit routing for generator circuits continues. The updates indicate construction work is active across multiple zones, with coordination needed for sequencing installations and contractor access.
