After a public hearing on Nov. 4 with no public comment, the Town Board held a special meeting and voted to accept the 2026 budget and to accept the 2026 Highway Snow and Ice contract submitted by Oswego County.
The minutes record that Supervisor Patricia Redhead "went through the 2026 Budget" and that a motion to accept the budget was made by Councilman Bob Bishman and seconded by Councilman Ray Willis; the recorded AYES were Bob Bishman, Ray Willis and Patricia Redhead. The board also recorded a separate motion to accept the Oswego County Highway snow-and-ice contract, with the same recorded vote.
Board members and staff did not record substantive public comment at the budget hearing; the procedural steps in the minutes show the board carried both motions during the special meeting. The town clerk filed the special meeting minutes and the motions were recorded as accepted into the official record.
