Boyceville board accepts resignations and approves several new hires; one abstention noted

Following a closed-session review of personnel matters, the Boyceville Community School District Board accepted resignations from Elizabeth Stolte (Middle/High School Spanish teacher), Monica Miranda (Middle/High School Business/Marketing teacher), Joanna Cole (elementary paraeducator) and Kayla Jenson (elementary paraprofessional). Motions to accept each resignation were made and carried by unanimous vote.
The board approved hiring recommendations for Frank Fetzer as high school mathematics teacher (transferring from tech ed), Jacob Strain as Technology Education/Math (Science) teacher, and Jackson Dalluhn as an elementary teacher. The hiring motion for Frank Fetzer carried with one abstention: Stacy Fetzer abstained due to a conflict of interest. All other hire motions passed unanimously.
