After adjourning into executive session at 7:24 p.m. to discuss the employment history of a particular person, the board reconvened and approved the provisional appointment of Jennifer Johnson as Director of Technology effective July 20, 2026. The appointment carries an annual salary of $72,000 (prorated for 7/20/26–6/30/27) with a one-year probationary period ending June 19, 2027; the motion was recorded as approved 7–0.
The board also approved other personnel items by unanimous vote, including appointment of Nate Smith as substitute bus driver/substitute bus attendant (per SAVE legislation), appointment of Alexzander Lombardo as student summer technology assistant at $16.00/hour, appointment of Evan Conklin as student lifeguard, and appointment of Leah Watkins as volunteer assistant girls swimming coach.
