The motion to adopt the budget was made by Board Member Renee Bagley and seconded by Board Member Caterina Dobak. The approved totals listed in the resolution are General Fund $12,091,870; Special Revenues $127,187; Debt Service $955,250. The board recorded a roll‑call vote that resulted in seven yes, one no and one absence; the motion passed. The budget notice sets a public hearing on the budget for May 7, 2026 at 7:00 PM at Alexandria Township School.
The board included an adjustment for increased health‑benefit costs of $367,191 and a banked‑cap adjustment of $26,707. The tentative budget also shows a maintenance reserve withdrawal of $165,000 specifically to pay for Art Room flooring and cabinetry replacement and Room 6 flooring replacement.
