Board approves elementary and high school claims and preauthorizes payment of June bills

The board voted to approve claims and accounts for the elementary schools and, separately, for the high school after motions and seconds were recorded. Motions were made by board members and approved by voice vote.
Because the board does not meet in July, Superintendent Hannah Eastkins explained the need to preauthorize payment of recurring June bills (utilities and similar items) so vendors are paid in a timely fashion; the board moved to approve the June bills and the motion passed by voice vote.
