Board approves Title I materials for Central Elementary and adopts two policies on second reading
Summary
The board approved Central Elementary Title I implementation documents and second readings of Policy No. 619 (District Audit) and Policy No. 810 (Transportation). The approvals were unanimous on recorded votes.
The board approved Central Elementary school guidelines and documents required under Title I, including the district Title I Parent and Family Policy, the Title I Home/School Compact, memoranda of understanding with STEP, Head Start materials, Parent Right-to-Know notices, school-wide program information and the equity plan. The motion was moved by Dr. Summer Bukeavich and seconded by Jason Lewis and carried on unanimous roll call.
Separately, the board approved the second reading of Policy No. 619 (District Audit) and Policy No. 810 (Transportation). Those policy adoptions were moved and seconded at the June 22 meeting and recorded as approved by the full board.
