The clerk read motions accepting retirements and resignations: for example, the board accepted the retirement of elementary teacher Margaret Cudahy effective July 1, 2026, and the retirement of music teacher Annette Behan effective July 1, 2026. Motions were seconded and carried by voice vote; one abstention (Courtney) was recorded on the Cudahy motion.
The board also approved tenure for Andrea Garrison as an elementary teacher effective Feb. 19, 2026, and confirmed permanent appointments (cafeteria monitors and bus attendants) and probationary hires (registered nurse and teacher aides) with stated effective dates and contract-step salaries as presented in the motion language.
