Board adopts 2026–27 calendar, approves PSAT setup and conference travel for superintendent and principal

The North River School District Board on March 19 approved the 2026–27 academic calendar and authorized travel expenses for district leadership to attend conferences.
Director Farnell moved to approve the 2026–27 calendar; Director Headley seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board also voted to pay travel expenses for Superintendent Pratt and Principal Farnell to attend specified conferences (motion by Director Farnell; second by Director Schlesser). Principal Farnell told the board the school is "finally set up to facilitate PSAT testing with Ms. Reman," and said math lab and Accelerated Reader programs are active and students will be recognized at student-of-the-month assemblies.
The calendar adoption and travel approvals were recorded as unanimous motions. The board set no further conditions in the meeting minutes and did not change the proposed calendar during this session.
