District athletics staff presented an end‑of‑year report highlighting participation, academic achievement and postseason results. The presenter (introduced as Mr. Iwanco) told the board that "This spring, 294 students in grades 7 through 12 participated in athletics," representing roughly half the secondary student body. He said varsity teams earned scholar‑athlete team recognition and singled out the boys tennis team for a 97.08 team GPA.
Student athlete Cece Clark, invited to speak, described how athletics shaped her leadership and readiness for college play: "Because of what I've learned from Eden Athletics, I feel confident and prepared for the next chapter, both as an athlete and as a person." Board members praised the program's coaches and families and noted postseason successes, including girls lacrosse winning a Class D championship and the boys lacrosse team finishing runner‑up.
The presenter also noted award recognitions and that 4 seniors signed to play collegiately; the board thanked student athletes and coaches and encouraged continued community support.
