During the "Say Something Positive" portion of the Dec. 17 meeting trustees and administrators highlighted several school programs and community events. Trustee Samuel Glackler noted the return of the toolbox program and Tier II learning supports and said he was looking forward to a board walkthrough at the elementary school. Trustees and administrators praised the middle- and high‑school music performances and the well‑attended holiday bazaar, where shop-class students sold ornaments and a ceramics class created a "Christmas village."
Superintendent Peter Rosenkranz recognized building principals and volunteers who support programs such as the elementary-school math volunteer program and reported that the district has had a clean audit and a positive HR certification review so far. Trustees described the continued engagement of students and community volunteers as a positive sign for district programs.
