The La Center School District Board of Directors conducted officer elections under GP‑2‑E5 during the Dec. 17 regular meeting. Craig Whited was nominated to continue as board chair and, after a roll-call-style vote, the board recorded four Aye votes and one abstention (Whited) and Whited continued as chair.
For vice chair, Mr. Whited nominated Eric Lindberg to continue; Lindberg abstained on his own election while other trustees voted Aye, and the board confirmed Lindberg as vice chair. Trustees also re-elected Amanda Miller as the board's legislative representative, with one abstention by Lindberg. The board followed standard nomination and seconding procedures during the election sequence.
