The board accepted resignations from James Gaston (custodian), Katie Monsour (Career & College Readiness coordinator/English teacher) and Doug Snyder (Assistant AD/Security coordinator). Each resignation was accepted by unanimous vote as recorded in the minutes.
The board then approved several hires and transfers: transfer of Kathy Brink from Nutrition Services to an 8-hour custodian position at $14.00/hour with benefits per the MCAESP contract; hiring Olivia VanHorn as a 4-hour Rayne cafeteria worker at $14.00/hour; hiring Mitchell Carmody as a long-term substitute for the Agriculture department at a prorated salary of $32,500 with single benefits; and hiring Nanette M. Anslinger as Career & College Readiness Coordinator under the MCAEA contract. The board also approved supplemental band contracts for Lauren Makara and Terry Orvosh ($2,475 each) and allowed resident doctors Kyle and Sierra Lovisone to volunteer at home junior-high football games. All motions carried 8–0.
