The Marion Center Area School Board approved travel for the varsity wrestling team to multiple overnight competitions and appointed two Co-Assistant Athletic Directors at its Oct. 27 meeting. "V Wrestling to Claysburg-Kimmel (ICC/Heritage Conference Tournament) *Heritage Conference Wrestling Championship New Tournament this year* 12/5 & 12/6/25; V Wrestling to Southmoreland 12/29 & 12/30/25 and V Wrestling to West Branch 1/23 & 1/24/26 be approved as presented," the minutes record; the Athletic Department will provide transportation and the wrestling boosters will provide hotel and meals.
The board also approved hiring Paul DeHaven and Nathan Ruddock as Co-Assistant Athletic Directors at a salary of $4,000 each. These items passed unanimously. The minutes list Paul DeHaven among those present and record the motion to hire both assistants; no additional contract terms or duration were recorded.
