Director of Buildings & Grounds Mr. Kirkland presented a capital-projects list that included relocating the copy room to the back of the high school library, resurfacing pool-area flooring, replacing fire-alarm end devices and updating annunciators, flooring and blacktop repairs, hot water pump seals and a sewage pump comminutor. The combined list carried an estimated upper cost of $189,332.00. The agenda also recommended paying Young & Associates $15,360.68 from the district's capital projects fund for soil sampling, core testing and preliminary surveying work; Young & Associates was asked to provide plans and drawings on July 20.
