Marion Center Area School Board approves 2026 meeting calendar

The Marion Center Area School Board approved its 2026 Meeting Calendar during the Dec. 2 reorganization meeting. The calendar designates Work Sessions on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., Open Voting Sessions on the fourth Monday at 7:30 p.m. preceded by a 7:00 p.m. executive session, and Open Combined Sessions beginning at 7:00 p.m. preceded by an executive session at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are scheduled to be held in the McCreery Elementary LGI, with exceptions for November and December when holiday and scheduling conflicts may require changes.
The minutes note the Board will serve as a Committee of the Whole during Work Sessions and that individual committee meetings will be set and posted as needed. The board also confirmed the annual reorganization meeting will take place the first Tuesday in December at 7:00 p.m.
