Marion Center Area School Board reelects Gregg Sacco as president

At its Dec. 2 reorganization meeting, the Marion Center Area School Board elected Gregg Sacco as board president by unanimous recorded vote; the board also completed officer appointments and approved the 2026 meeting calendar.
The Marion Center Area School Board elected Gregg Sacco president during its reorganization session on Dec. 2, 2025. The board recorded an affirmative vote of 8–0 with one member absent after nominations were closed.
Mr. McMillen nominated Sacco for president and Mr. Moretti seconded the nomination. Mr. Glasser moved to close nominations, a motion seconded by Mr. Moretti; the motion carried as recorded by the board secretary. The roll call attached to the minutes lists eight members in attendance at the start of the meeting: Ms. Dicken, Mr. Glasser, Mr. Griffith, Mr. Hankinson, Mrs. Jennie Ivory, Mr. Moretti, Mr. McMillen and Mr. Sacco.
The election takes place as part of the board’s annual reorganization procedures. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the McCreery Elementary Large Group Instruction room; the session adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
