The Darlington Community School District board on May 13 approved the 2026–27 operating budgets for district schools, the curriculum program and athletics.
Motion by Zuberbuhler, seconded by Stauffacher, approved the Darlington Elementary/Middle School (DEMS) 2026–27 budget “as presented,” and the motion carried. Motions by Zuberbuhler, seconded by Stauffacher, also carried to approve the Darlington High School (DHS) budget, the district Curriculum budget, and the Athletics/Activities budget for 2026–27.
The approvals were presented as part of routine budget items on the agenda; the board did not request changes during the meeting. These votes finalize the district’s spending plans for the coming school year and allow department and program staff to proceed with implementation and procurement under the approved allocations.
