The Darlington Community School District board met for a special organizational meeting on May 13, 2026. Superintendent Cale Jackson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and verified that new members of the board had been sworn in.
During the meeting, the board adopted the agenda after a motion by Board member Crist, seconded by Zuberbuhler. The board then held a series of unanimous elections for officers, designated the Bank of New Glarus, Apple River State Bank and the State Investment Pool as district depositories, named the Republican Journal as the official newspaper, appointed Boardman and Clark as legal advisors, and set regular summer meeting dates for 5:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday in June, July and August. The meeting adjourned at 5:09 p.m.
