The Policy Committee of the Mineral Point Schools Board of Trustees reviewed an updated Gifted and Talented program guide at its April 8, 2026, meeting and agreed to schedule a formal review of district policy 342.3 in May. Angie Klein and Amanda Heisner shared the updated guide, which committee members said aligns with current state standards.
Committee members thanked Klein and Heisner for their work and determined that policy 342.3 should be reviewed and updated at the next Policy Committee meeting rather than be brought forward for a first reading in April. The committee's recommendation was recorded as the meeting's next step; the meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
