During the May 18 special meeting the Okemah Board of Education voted to enter executive session under Oklahoma statute O.S. 25, Sec. 307 (B)(1). The motion "to go into executive session pursuant to O.S. 25, Sec. 307 (B)(1)" was made by J.C. Haddox, seconded by Randy Colbert and carried with a recorded vote of 4 yeas, 0 nays, 1 absent (Mekko McGirt noted absent for that vote).
After returning to open session the board recorded votes on personnel items and later moved to adjourn. The motion to adjourn at 6:15 p.m. was made by J.C. Haddox, seconded by Randy Colbert, and passed 5-0.
