Central Cambria board approves payments, year-end transfers and authorizes fuel bids

During the Finance Committee portion of the June 8 meeting, the board approved disbursement payments from the General Fund and Food Service Fund for May 2026 and the June 2026 accounts-payable batch listing. The committee made the April 2026 Food Service Operating Statement part of the minutes.
The board authorized advertising for bids for diesel fuel (for school buses), heating oil for Jackson Elementary School, and regular unleaded gasoline. It also approved necessary transfers of appropriations within the 2025–26 General Fund to close the fiscal year and voted to participate in the collection of interim real estate taxes for the 2026–27 school year. All finance-related motions were seconded and carried unanimously. The Treasurer's report was deferred because Mrs. Laurie Roberts was not present; the board will review it at the July 13 meeting.
