Board approves counseling, summer credit-recovery and specialized services for 2026–27
Summary
The board approved continuing guidance counselors on a per-diem basis beyond 2026–27 (up to 10 days), Credit Recovery Summer School (June 1–19, 2026), an agreement with Impact Counseling Services LLC for drug and alcohol services, an agreement with CECO for student #250016 (not to exceed $3,650), and a therapy services contract with Camco Physical and Occupational Therapy, LLC.

The Education Committee recommended and the board approved a slate of student-support and program items. The district will continue to compensate elementary and secondary guidance counselors on a per-diem basis for up to 10 days beyond the 2026–27 school year. The board also approved a Credit Recovery Summer School to run June 1–19, 2026; students will use an online platform while attending in person and supervised by CCSD staff.
Contract approvals included an agreement with Impact Counseling Services LLC to provide drug and alcohol services including case management for the 2026–27 school year, an agreement with the Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) for services for student #250016 with costs not to exceed $3,650, and a two-year contract with Camco Physical and Occupational Therapy, LLC for school-based physical, speech and occupational therapy covering Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2028.
