She also listed personnel changes: the food-service director Marcy Gallagher has retired; Susanna Bemens has been hired as food-service supervisor; a 0.5 food-service secretary position will be posted; Sierra Britton was hired as maintenance and custodial supervisor; Tanya Cinto was moved to special programs director; and Chris Anderson will serve as Winter Lakes Elementary principal.
The superintendent told trustees the district negotiated a return of a speech-services provider, Catherine Wright, through the ESD, producing an estimated $15,000 in savings. The personnel shifts, she said, are part of an effort to close a projected $179,000 revenue shortfall driven by lower enrollment.
