District staff reviewed the Student Investment Account (SIA) and other integrated-program funding the district will use to support personnel and student services.
"For the 2527 biennium, we're slated to receive just a little bit over $2,300,000," said the presenter (Conny Cinco), who described uses including CTE teachers, academic and social-emotional counselors, an equity team (required by law), curricular adoptions, speech-language pathologists and educational assistants.
The presenter said some services formerly purchased from the ESD are now provided in-district using these dollars, and that the grant also helps fund curricular materials and other student-facing supports.
