Student Board Representatives Emma Rubar and Evangeline Pluta gave the student report, describing a One Book event in which high school students enacted a play at elementary and middle schools to kickoff the program. They reported DECA success at LeMoyne with 15 students advancing to compete in Rochester and noted a venue change for some DECA activities due to space constraints.
Board President Steven Patch and Vice President Kristy Fischmann served as judges at the LeMoyne DECA competition and told the board they judged 13 groups, six of which represented Central Square. The student representatives also said the Winter Guard competition season begins in roughly two weeks and that end-of-marking-period grade deadlines are approaching. Meeting materials and supplemental files contain additional program details.
