Maureen Phippen Ladd, the district's School Business Manager, presented the revised 2025 District-wide School Safety Plan during a public hearing called by Board President Steven Patch at 6:01 p.m. The presentation included a PowerPoint and drew about 15 members of the public; no audience questions were recorded during the hearing.
The board approved the revised safety plan as part of a blanket motion to adopt Items for Discussion and Action (H.1–H.7). A motion (Fischmann/Morey) to approve the items carried unanimously, 8-0. District materials and the PowerPoint used in the public hearing are filed with the District Clerk as supplemental documents, the minutes state.
Board members did not request additional public comment during the hearing. The approval was recorded in the minutes as part of the board's H-items vote and will be reflected in the district's posted policy and safety-plan documents.
