Mr. Fletcher provided a high-school update, reporting tentative 9–12 enrollment of about 176 students, including students enrolled through Freeman ConnectEd, PACE, the skill center and Running Start. He said the total high-school headcount is up roughly 10 students from the prior year.
Fletcher outlined academic opportunities: English 101 and 170 through Eastern and multi-semester precalculus/calculus through Central, noting students "can walk away with 20 credits in math, through central." He introduced four new teachers and highlighted extracurricular rosters—27 football players eligible to practice and 29 volleyball participants—while noting scheduling adjustments in the football league had cost two scheduled games.
