Superintendent Aaron Duff presented a packet of Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) recommended policy changes for the board’s review and asked trustees to bring questions to the Oct. 13 meeting. Policy items listed in the meeting record include IKF (Graduation Requirements), JFCEB (Personal Electronic Devices—listed for deletion), JO/IGBAB‑AR (Education Records/Records of Students with Disabilities), JOA (Directory Information), LBEA (Denial for virtual public charter school enrollment), DBEA (Budget Committee) and others.
No board action was taken at the Sept. 8 meeting; the item was informational and placed on the agenda for review over the coming month. The district will consider any member questions or recommended edits at the Oct. 13 meeting.
