The Milton‑Freewater Unified SD 7 School Board approved its consent agenda at the Sept. 8 meeting, accepting four community donations totaling $6,950 and approving the district financial reports and the Aug. 11 meeting minutes.
Superintendent Aaron Duff presented the donations: $300 from Patti and Royal Bennett for school supplies; $3,000 from Subject Technologies, Inc. for back‑to‑school needs; $2,500 from Noble Panels & Gates toward completion of the FFA barn; and $150 from Meredith Corlis for Gib Olinger supplies. The consent agenda record shows: "MOTION: DON MILLER MOVED TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA, AS PRESENTED. SECOND: KELLY KESSLER. VOTE: UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED." Don Miller is listed in attendance as Board Vice Chairman and Kelly Kessler as a board member.
Denyce Kelly was noted as available to answer financial questions; the board did not request further discussion. The approval clears routine fiscal and minutes items and allows staff to accept and allocate the donated funds per school needs.
