Director reports center hours, pending contracts and DDAP quality-assurance schedule

The Director's report said the Center is operating three days per week from 1:00–7:00 p.m., and continues to host weekly groups including Refuge Recovery, an All Recovery meeting, a Mothers/Women in Recovery meeting and multiple Narcotics Anonymous meetings. Staff also said Narcotics Anonymous will hold a "summer slam" speaker jam at the Center on June 20 from 2–5 p.m.

Staff reported one contract from FY 2025–26 remains outstanding; FY 2026–27 contracts are being prepared and expected to be sent to providers by the end of June. Annual provider monitoring visits were completed in May and the summary sheets were submitted to the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP). DDAP scheduled the on-site portion of the Annual Quality Assurance Assessment for July 29 and a virtual meeting on July 20 to review pre-submitted information. Staff also reported they were unable to obtain updated overdose death counts from the Coroner's office for 2026; the minutes note that at the same time last year there were six confirmed overdose deaths with five pending cases.
