Council confirms multiple board and commission appointments effective July 1, 2026

The Nutter Fort Town Council unanimously accepted a slate of appointments and reappointments effective July 1, 2026, after a motion by Councilor Rick Lafferty and a second by Councilor Charlene Louk. The list (provided in the council packet) included appointees and expirations: Mike Jones (Board of Appeals, expiration 6/30/2026), Norval Lawrence (Board of Appeals, 6/30/2028), Shirley Sheets (Building Commission, 6/30/2031), Whitney Eagle (Library Board, 6/30/2031), Dave Nuzum (Planning Commission, 6/30/2029), John Robinson (Sanitary Board, 6/30/2029), Robert Titchenal (Traffic Advisory Committee, 6/30/2028), Travis Yost (Traffic Advisory Committee, 6/30/2029), Raetta Allen (Urban Renewal Authority, 6/30/2031), and William Williams (Zoning Board of Appeals, 6/30/2031).

Council approved the full list by unanimous roll call and recorded the action in the meeting minutes; the appointments were confirmed as having been accepted by the individuals prior to the meeting (per the packet). The confirmations will allow the listed bodies to continue functioning with full membership.
