Selectmen add Cobble Rd. culvert to previously approved $55,000 bridge study fund

At a special meeting on Aug. 17, 2026, the Town of Canaan Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a motion to include Cobble Rd. Culvert/Bridge #21-007 in the previously approved Town Bridge Study funds (previously presented and approved at $55,000) for upcoming design and engineering study work. Selectman Chris Kinsella made the motion; Selectman Judy Jacobs seconded.

The board amended earlier requests and recommended inclusion of the culvert in the existing $55,000 allocation to be confirmed at Town Meeting.
