The Boyceville Community School District Board received a project update from Alex Larson of CESA 10 on the district’s ongoing referendum work, including a timeline and outstanding procurement issues. Larson said Phase 1 work is expected to be completed by Jan. 20 and that 18 replacement doors supplied incorrectly are waiting to be replaced. He also reported that two Phase 2 flooring bids were received and that Prostar Surfaces had the lowest bid.
Board members discussed next steps for Tiffany Creek Elementary parking-lot renderings, HVAC controls updates, bus garage repairs and middle-school locker upgrades. The board noted that referendum budget oversight continues as projects progress. “Phase 1 work should be completed by January 20,” the board record shows, and trustees asked staff to keep the project schedule and procurement documentation current.
The district also confirmed ongoing Tru-lock work to complete door security and fobbing as part of referendum-related safety upgrades. No formal vote on additional capital allocations occurred at the meeting; the update was presented as an informational item with project and budget context.
