The meeting opened with several student-focused items. Administrator (S7) displayed travel brochures produced by a class and introduced the choir, which performed the national anthem. Student leaders Charlotte Chlagle (S10) and Robert Gleason (S11) updated the board on winter formal, student outreach to promote clubs and extracurriculars, and efforts to increase inclusivity in communications.
Administrator (S7) also praised the robotics teams and invited board members to tour the robotics room where students planned to demonstrate their state-qualifying robot. Board members expressed appreciation for the students' work and encouraged more promotion of extracurricular activities.
