Board approves multiple resignations and hires ahead of the 2025–26 school year
Summary
Trustees accepted five resignations and approved six employment recommendations, including staff for special education, athletics, transportation and Comet Club positions. Motions to approve resignations and hires were carried.
The Cameron Board of Education approved a slate of personnel actions at its Aug. 25 meeting. The board accepted resignations from Kayla Berlin (Middle School Special Education Aide), Noah Anderson (Middle School Football Coach), Danielle Waggoner (Elementary Special Education Aide), Heather Cook (High School Special Education Aide) and Erin Sayles (Comet Club/Wrap Around Aide) on a motion by Bethany Stevens and seconded by Scott Keeler; the minutes record that the motion carried.
The board also approved recommendations for employment and transfers: Glenda Hooser (Bus Driver); Dylan Holdeman (Middle School Football Coach); Stacey Zimmerman (High School Special Education Aide); Teresa Richie (Middle School Kitchen Assistant); Rachel Ruff (Elementary Special Education Aide/Comet Club Aide); and Michele Titus (Middle School Special Education Aide). The employment recommendations were moved by Jeff Gifford and seconded by Bethany Stevens; motion carried.
The minutes list titles but do not include hire start dates, salary figures, or background information for the new hires.
