The Vernonia School District board on Feb. 13 accepted the resignation of Juan Carlos Munoz, a Vernonia High School math teacher, effective June 30, 2025. Board member Greg moved to accept the resignation and a colleague seconded; the chair called for objections and said the vote was unanimous.
"I'll move to accept the resignation of Juan Carlos Munoz, math teacher, effective 06/30/2025," said Greg during the motion. The board took no public action beyond accepting the resignation and then continued with other agenda items. The resignation was added to the agenda earlier in the meeting as item 7.3 and was included in the action items considered that evening.
