One of the student presenters told trustees, “We wanted to show our appreciation to you guys, for all the work you guys do.” Trustees and district administrators thanked the students and recognized staff who support the program; the superintendent noted the T‑shirts and other materials are produced locally.
Board members described the gesture as meaningful and noted it offered a visible example of student engagement with district governance. The presentation included photos and brief remarks by trustees and closed with light refreshments and informal conversation.
