Director Angel Ashdown moved to adjourn the Jan. 12 work session; Director Judy Miles seconded the motion. The minutes record that Miles, Hacherl, Hockett, Ashdown and Brown voted in favor and Chair Korinn Hockett adjourned the meeting at 7:02 p.m.
During the meeting the board discussed procedural changes to shorten meetings: members asked that written reports included in meeting materials not be read aloud at the table, allowing more time for staff recognition and discussion. Administrative Assistant Stephanie Griffith and Superintendent Aaron Miller were present for the session.
