The Port Orford-Langlois School District 2CJ board unanimously approved its consent agenda at the May 18 regular meeting, accepting Michele Leonard’s resignation as an instructional aide and approving several new hires.
Board members voted to hire Nicole Kraynik as a fifth-grade teacher, Julian Carter as a PE teacher at Driftwood School (DWS), and Kari Senn as a district office administrative assistant. The board also approved the interim principal appointment of Bonita Stout for Pacific High School for the 2026–27 school year.
Angel Ashdown moved to approve the consent agenda and Carol Hacherl seconded. Chair Korinn Hockett, Hacherl, Judy Miles, Ashdown and Bob Brown all voted in favor. The motion passed unanimously.
Board Chair Korinn Hockett read the roll and recorded staff present for the meeting, which occurred in person at Pacific High School Library and simultaneously via Zoom. No dissent or abstention was recorded on the consent items.
