Dan Feldhaus and Dr. Elizabeth Segraves of Blast IU 17 presented an overview of the EQUIP online learning services (Mountie Academy), describing services available to the district and implementation options. The presentation preceded board action to approve a package of agreements for 2025–26.
The board approved multiple agreements with Blast IU 17 for IDEA services, special education services, data center hosting, technology services (network engineer/other technology services), and DaRTS software. The board also approved a 2025–26 agreement with Hope Enterprises Inc. for use of the TeenLink facility and a contract for pediatric therapy services with UPMC Williamsport d/b/a UPMC Pediatric Rehabilitation. Motions to approve these agreements were moved and seconded and carried on roll-call votes.
