The South Williamsport Area School Board approved Silvertip Inc.'s revised proposal to replace a domestic hot water heater at the high school for $50,000, to be funded from the 2025–2026 Capital Reserve Budget. The motion was moved by Miller and seconded by Bachman and passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
The board also approved an extensive set of construction change orders across multiple general and specialty contracts. Noteworthy items recorded in the minutes include a credit for unused site unit price amounts on General Contract G-017 for ($285,200.00), asbestos pipe removal for $10,328.99, a rain water collector system for $34,021.07, window lintel changes for $24,807.33, and several HVAC and plumbing line items. The change orders were approved by roll call vote with all present members voting yes.
