Board signs off on field trips, cheer camp and summer student programs with modest district costs

The board approved several upcoming student activities and summer programs during the April 15 meeting. Approved trips include a First Grade visit to Ross Park Zoo on May 7, 2026 and a Second Grade visit to Roberson's Museum on May 14, 2026.
The board also approved Varsity Football Cheerleading to attend Cheer Camp from Aug. 15–18, 2026, and authorized two summer offerings: a Let Grow Play Club for grades 1–6 with a district cost of $1,500, and a Sports/STEM summer camp for grades 3–6 with a district cost of $2,300.
