The Susquehanna Community School Board approved the intent of retirement for Robert Goodrich, a High School social studies teacher, effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year (motion by Oscar Miller, second by Jennifer Boerner).
The board accepted resignations including Kyle Cook (Girls 5th/6th Grade Basketball Head Coach) and Stephanie Devlin (Personal Care Aide, effective April 10, 2026). It approved several hires pending clearances: Sophia Muta (Elementary Teacher, Step 2/Bachelors) was approved with an 8–1 vote (Anne Cook voted NO); Shannon Oropallo (Track Helper), Julie Hargett-Wakins (Registered Nurse for the Kindergarten Field Trip), Phyllis O'Keeffe (Substitute Personal Care Aide) and Christen Beamer (Elementary Classroom Aide) were also approved pending all required clearances.
