Board flags a budget shortfall and approves ICTC contribution increase to $840,266

Business Affairs presenter Mr. Martini told the board the district faces an approximate $49,600 shortfall and that several unknowns remain before the board must adopt a budget in May. In spite of the uncertainty the board approved the payment of April bills and standard encumbrances.
The board also approved the 2025–2026 ICTC budget; Marion Center's contribution was recorded as $840,266, an increase of $82,905 from the previous year. Each motion was approved 8–0 with one absence. Mr. Martini emphasized the need to finalize figures before the mandatory May budget vote.
