The Marion Center Area School Board on June 23 approved a suite of service agreements for the 2025–26 school year. Actions included a Leader Services subscription for IEPWriter.com (Progress Monitoring Module/504 Module/SIS Bridge) at a cost of $12,111; an agreement with Indiana University of Pennsylvania to provide two graduate assistants; a comprehensive services agreement with Allegheny Intermediate Unit; and a financial addendum to the Pressley Ridge agreement increasing semester fees by $1,000 and ESY fees by $100.
The motions were presented and moved by Ms. Young and seconded by Mr. Hankinson or Mr. Moretti as listed in the record and were approved by recorded votes (most unanimously). The board also approved services agreements with New Story and The Day School at the Children's Institute for the upcoming school year and passed a resolution supporting the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial. These contracts cover student support services, special-education related modules, and other district needs; the board did not amend contract amounts at the meeting.
