During the Feb. 17 meeting the board reviewed a high school report that noted multiple student accomplishments — including state‑qualifying athletes and Landon Nofield receiving the Chick Evans scholarship — and recorded that "thirty-one students participating in a walk-out to protest ICE." The Chair reviewed the report on behalf of High School Principal Jeff Roberts.
Student Representative Ella Crater also reported on upcoming student events across the district, including a Sadie Hawkins dance and winter sports updates. The board acknowledged the student activities and Hall of Fame induction referenced in the high school report.
